I went on my weekly Tuesday night ride on the Santiago Truck Trail. The conditions tonight were perfect, and by the sheer number of mountain bike riders there, I bet they would agree. It was crowded like a bar with cheap drinks and cheap women - the Tuesday night hot spot.

We had a Santa Ana Wind condition most of the day which blew all the smog away. You could tell because you could count more than 3 stars in the sky. Then we had a full moon. It was so bright, many riders chose to ride with their lights off (until I came around the corner and blinded them with my HID). And to top it off, it was a balmy 71 degrees at 7PM. Yes, 71 degrees at night in the middle of November.

And lastly, no overgrown kitties with big fangs like the one stalking the kids in San Clemente.

Night riding doesn’t get any better than this.
